His partnership with 19-year-old Haider Ali, who hit 54 off 33 balls on his debut, looked promising as they shared a stand of exactly 100 after coming together at 32-2. His fifty came off just 28 balls and he is the first Pakistan players to hit a half-century on his T20 debut. “He was good under pressure and just expressed himself,” said player of the series Hafeez of Haider in a post-match interview.
