India thrashed New Zealand in the T20 series and will now aim to exact retaliation for the World Test Championship in the subsequent Tests. New Zealand is the World Test Champion, though betting in India may favour the home side.
It is understandable that they want to give their title defence the greatest opportunity possible. They rested a few crucial players from the T20 matches in order to keep them as fresh as possible for the Tests. Google cricket has provided all positive updates for the two teams, though some stars may still take a break.
Beating India in India is never easy, and although India may not have won the World Cup, they have consistently been the top Test team in the globe, winning in a variety of situations all across the world.
Over the previous several years, India has been in terrific form in Test cricket. They won seven of the eight matches they played in 2019, including five at home, won a series in Australia, and won two Test matches in England, demonstrating their ability to perform under pressure.
However, India’s true strength is playing at home. With Australia becoming more beatable at home, it is safe to argue that defeating India in India is the most difficult assignment any cricketing team can face.
In the past five years, India has only lost two home matches (one each to England and Australia). In addition, New Zealand has never won a series in India and has not won a test match there since 1988. It’s easy to claim that history is on India’s side!
However, India will be without several crucial players for this encounter. Virat Kohli has been rested for the series, while Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma and Rishab Pant will be absent for the duration.
Due to the absence of KL Rahul due to injury, Shubman Gill will once again open the batting with Mayank Aggarwal. Prior to the series, there was speculation that Shubman Gill might bat in the middle order. Suryakumar Yadav, who is also in the squad, is also poised to make his debut, dethroning Shreyas Iyer.
If you’re looking for the Top Batsmen in India, we recommend Cheteshwar Pujara and Shubman Gill.
Axar Patel, R Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja, along with two Indian pacers, might all be included in the starting eleven. Pitches in India will suit spinners, and these three spin bowlers might have a field day.
Axar Patel is in fantastic form and shown his ability to be productive against England on favourable fields. Take a chance on him in the Top Bowler India betting market.
Can you be World Test Champions and yet be considered the underdogs in a series? That is precisely what has occurred with New Zealand. They will be trying to create history by winning this series, but we doubt they will be content to win even one match.
This series, the New Zealand batsmen will face a spin test. If the pitches are anything like what we saw in the England series, they will have a difficult time.
Of course, New Zealand has some excellent spinners as well. Kane Williamson is an accomplished spin batter with a record of one century and three half-century in India. In the UAE, where spinners predominate, he averages almost 65.
He’s a decent pick for the Top Batter New Zealand betting market, but the odds aren’t terrific. Consider Tom Latham, who has five fifties against India (three of them in India) and will be a good antidote to the left-arm spinners.
Mitch Santner and Ajaz Patel will head the bowling assault for New Zealand in this match. To put it mildly, New Zealand’s spinners cannot compete with India’s, and expecting them to win a test match in India is very optimistic.
If New Zealand wins, it will be because to their quick bowlers and reverse swing.
Indians have won 16 of the 34 Tests they have played in India, losing only two, and drawing the other 16.
We’re going to wager on India to win this game. They are playing at home, where its spinners are very difficult to counter. Sure, a few players are absent, but the group is deep enough that it doesn’t matter too much. To even contend, New Zealand will have to play out of their skin, which we don’t see happening. Make a bet for India to win.
