Also opener Andre Fletcher played a blistering knock of 34 runs off 14 deliveries.

He clobbered three sixes and three fours. However other batsmen failed miserably in the same match. Brendon King and wicket-keeper Nicholas Pooran couldn’t make any impact. Batsman Shimron Hetmyer and Rovman Powell got dismissed on the duck. In bowling department speedsters Oshane Thomas bowled well to take two wickets. Speedster Sheldon Cottrell and Pollard bagged one wicket each. Pacers Keemo Paul and Kesrick Williams didn’t get any wicket in the first match. Fabian Allen also couldn’t take any wicket and gave away many runs in just two overs. They need to win this match to equalise this three-match T20I series.


These two teams played each other 12 times where New Zealand won seven games while West Indies won remaining five games.


New Zealand are more likely to win this match as they are looking stronger team at home.
