12BET Predictions: Sri Lanka vs India, third ODI match
Sri Lanka will face off against India in the third ODI match of India’s tour of Sri Lanka. The visitors have already won the series 2-0. There could be some major changes in the game for the Indian side. Shikhar Dhawan may consider some experimentation with his side after securing the series win. India have played some good live cricket so far and will try to complete the whitewash.

There is no denying that Sri Lanka had pushed Shikhar Dhawan and company towards what would be a disappointing loss in the second ODI. Their bowling in Sandakan, Wanindu Hasaranga and Dasun Shanaka took key wickets to dent the Indian innings at regular intervals. However, the visitors escaped with a win and google cricket highlighted the same.
Going into the third and final game of the series, that Sri Lanka have already lost, the hosts would want to get their batting going. Avishka Fernando and Charith Asalanka did score half-centuries and many batsmen got good starts but none of them converted it into a big score. Special mention to Chamola Karunaratne, the only batsman who has performed consistently and ensured Sri Lanka reach a respectable total in this series.

If it wasn’t for Deepak Chahar’s determination to stay out there and face the snorters, India would be looking at an 1-1 series score. However, the swing bowler player a brilliant 69- run knock to rescue the team from the claws of defeat. Suryakumar Yadav too scored a 50, and that may come as a good sign. However, the rest of the batting, including the experienced Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya, fell cheaply in the second ODI.
Bowling-wise India has been doing fine.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal led the way with three wickets in the second ODI. Kuldeep went wicketless. Krunal Pandya was economical. Dhawan would only want Hardik to make a bigger impact than he is currently.

PREDICTION:
Colombo has so far looked like a pretty balanced wicket. While batsman have had their times in the middle, bowlers, especially spinners, have got some assistance too. With the series already decided, India would want to go with a few changes in the team, bring in Sanju Samson, test Nitish Rana and Varun Chakravarthy against Sri Lanka. The hosts, on the other hand, would look to give India a push and carry some momentum in the T20Is. India should emerge winners.
