England vs Australia 3rd ODI: Match Preview, Prediction, Expected Lineups & Team News

The third ODI will be the deciding match between England and Australia, as both sides have won one game each. The way England came back after a disappointing performance was really shocking. The bowlers were on song as they never let the Aussies sneak past the run rate and kept picking wickets consistently. It will be a very fascinating match up, with some fascinating cricket in the third and final ODI. A match where the winner takes it all.
England
Eoin Morgan won the toss and chose to bat first expecting his batsmen to put runs on the board. However Jonny Bairstow got out early and Jason Roy also followed him in a few overs. Joe Root and Eoin Morgan played some handy knocks in the middle before departing to the dressing room.
The Three Lions middle and lower middle order could not keep up as Sam Billings, Sam Currand and Jos Buttler went out cheaply. However handy innings from Chris Woakes followed by a great nith wicket partnership between Tom Curran and Adil Rahid, carried the England total to 231 at end of 50 overs. While the betters failed, the bowlers lived upto the expectations and did not let the visitors take the upper hand. Woakes, Sam Curran and Jofra Archer picked up 3 wickets each to level the series for the Three Lions.
England are expected to continue with the same lineup for the last ODI.
Expected Lineup: Jonny Bairstow, Jason Roy, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler, Chris Woakes, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Adil Rashid, Jofra Archer.
Australia
The Aussies started brightly in the first game and continued the same form to the second one as well but they were outdone by the better team. However Aaron Finch and his men have plenty of positives to take from the game. Australia’s pace attack did really well early on as they kept picking wickets at regular intervals. Also their only spinner Adam Zampa picked up some very crucial wickets.
It is just that they could not clean the tail of the England batting properly and restrict them to a score under 200 which looked very much possible. Although 230 should not be trouble for the Australia batting lineup but none of them managed to play the anchor role and take the innings deep. The English bowlers were very good and Finch and company need to pull up their socks for the final encounter.
Steve Smith will probably return to this team and give more structure to the Australian batting lineup.
Expected Lineup: Aaron Finch (c), David Warner, Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa.
