Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain soon to join Chelsea

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who already entered the last 12 months of his contract with Arsenal has been offered new and improved terms by his current club. However, the winger made it clear last week that he is in pursuit of a new challenge.
With this, the 24-year-old player is expected to move to Stamford Bridge and join the squad of Antonio Conte.
Chelsea declined to comment but it is understood that they have agreed to pay a certain transfer fee to Arsenal in order to acquire Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Since the new season begun, the English midfielder started every game for the Gunners including the embarrassing 4-0 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield where he was later on substituted.
Along with Ox, forward Alexis Sanchez and midfielder Mesut Ozil will also be out of contract next summer.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have also expressed interest in Oxlade-Chamberlain but it seems to have cooled as the Reds put in a bid for Monaco forward Thomas Lemar, and also agreeing a £48m deal that sees Naby Keita joining them next summer.
