Cristiano Ronaldo still Contemplating over his Departure

Luis Campos, Lille director of football revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo is still taking some time to think over whether or not he should remain at Real Madrid.

The veteran has been under fire for being accused of tax fraud by Spanish tax authorities which contributes a big factor in his potential transfer.

The Campos has also said that the current dilemma of Ronaldo had left the Portugal international truly saddened and hurt.

“[Cristiano] has told me that he needs some days to think. That is normal. The situation with Real Madrid in these moments in a bit tense, which is normal too, but Cristiano will have time to make the right decision, I am sure about that,” Campos disclosed in an interview.

Campos earlier expressed that he wants Ronaldo to remain with Madrid despite being linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.

“The best player at the world should be at the best club in the world,” sports director said. “I am in agreement with that. And I believe that Real Madrid understands that, and that the best player in the world understands that too.”
