Paul Pogba has been missing the game because of the hamstring injury since September and
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho admitted that he still ‘no idea’ on the midfielder’s
return.
According to Mourinho, Pogba is doing an individual work and he can only predict a player that
works with him like centre-back Marcos Rojo, who suffered a serious knee injury last April.
Again, I have no idea. Honestly. I am not in control of his recovery process. He is not training
with me. He is on individual work and when a player is on individual work and not in my group,
not even in certain conditions, [I cannot predict his return]. For example, Marcos Rojo is
working with me, with certain conditions, and because he is training with me, I would expect
him to be ready to play after the international break. I can predict that. But Paul, I have no
idea.” Mourinho expressed
The France midfielder Pogba already missed the last 10 matches of the squad in all
competitions because of the injury he sustained last September 12.
Moving forward, United has still two remaining matches before the international break and they are going to host Benfica in the Champions League on November 1 before they battle
Chelsea in the Premier League on November 6 at Stamford Bridge, London.
