French International Kylian Mbappe has explained why he decided to join Paris Saint-Germain from Real Madrid and the three Premier League teams Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
According to Mbappe, his desire to remain in his home country (France) made him join PSG as he saw the club’s ambition to be the best in the world.
“Great players make history in their own country. If I had left France after six months I would have left as an eternal hope. When you come to Paris you are at a club that has the ambition to be the best in the world, you have come to a club that wants to play in all the competitions. I’m going to give everything I have got to make history with PSG. Playing with Neymar is something extraordinary. PSG already interested me, but having Neymar is an additional boost.” Mbappe said
The 18-year-old forward will join PSG on a season loan from AS Monaco before making his £166million deal next summer.
Mbappe is now back with his new club after returning from his international duty with France, where they ended up the game to a 0-0 draw over Luxembourg, and got his first training session at the Ooredoo Training Centre.
