Luke Shaw set to leave Man Utd over Mourinho criticism

Manchester United Luke Shaw will be leaving the Old Trafford in the summer following the remarks made by club manager Jose Mourinho.
The left-back player was substituted at half-time during the weekend’s 2-0 win over Brighton in the FA-quarter final.
Manager Mourinho justified this and said that he had to take off Shaw together with Antonio Valencia because the two allegedly failed to follow tactical instruction set by the Portuguese coach.
“Luke, in the first half, every time they came in his corridor, the cross came in and a dangerous situation was coming,” the Portuguese said.
“I was not happy with his performance.”
Apparently, it was not the first time Shaw received Mourinho’s relatively undesirable comments. Shaw was repeatedly criticized in the past, and United boss publicly questioned the defender’s approach to training and his commitment to the club last April.
This has left 22-year-old upset. But it was not only him. Those people close to the England defender have been left furious at the public nature of Mourinho’s criticism.
Shaw has made 15 appearances for the Red Devils this season and is already likely to be sold unless club chief Mourinho changes his views of the young lad.
