Zinedine Zidane said that he has signed a new contract with the Spanish Champions, Real Madrid on Tuesday, though the deal has not been formally announced by the club yet.

Along with the Madrid players who have gotten to renew contract, chief Zidane has also extended his as disclosed on news conference.

“In terms of the renewal, it’s already done,” said the former French footballer.

“I care about the day to day and I’m not looking further than that.”

Real boss has been in charge of the club since January 2016. During his 18 months reign, Zidane has been successful in leading his squad to win the Champions League twice and La Liga title once.

In August’s transfer saga, he already claimed that a deal of three years was all ready but has not been signed yet.

The club is expected to defend their league title as they host to Real Betis (check out the best betting odds of the coming duel).

Madrid will be playing without the presence of Theo Hernandez who picked up shoulder injury during the clash against Real Sociedad.
