No offer for Ryan Giggs as Jose Mourinho backroom Staff

Assistant manager Ryan Giggs revealed that Jose Mourinho did not make an offer for him to stay at Manchester United.
For two seasons, Giggs has worked as Louis van Gaal’s assistant after ending his playing career back in the year 2014. Upon the arrival of successor Jose Mourinho, it was reported that Giggs would be retained by the new manager.
However, in an interview, the 43-year-old coach said, “There was no offer from Jose Mourinho. No offer. It was my choice to go.”
“As soon as Louis was going, I had made my decision to go. I had done two years and I wanted to go three years under Louis. It didn’t happen. That was my plan, to do my three years and see what happened after that.”
He also furthered that he could no longer go on at the club in any other capacity apart from previous club boss.
Giggs has always been expressive of his desire to become a manager after being in charge of United for four games as caretaker, following the dismissal of David Moyes in April 2014.
But at the moment, he said that he is quite happy and is waiting for the right opportunity take.
