Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva has completely moved on to the embarrassing Champions League loss last season.

According to Silva, it’s already been buried in the past and he including his teammates has forgotten the Champions League exit against FC Barcelona.

The 32-year-old Brazilian defender added that the club is focused to the new season of the tournament.

Going back, Unai Emery’s men carried a 4-0 lead at Parc des Princes however, the French capital were eliminated in the last 16 after they suffered a remarkable 6-1 loss in the second leg against Barcelona at Camp Nou.

Right now, PSG had already put that defeat behind them as they prepare for the opening Group B clash with Celtic F.C. tomorrow at Celtic Park.

“We have forgotten that already. We already forgot about Barcelona.  It is now a new Champions League, something different. We are ready to make a strong start. This competition is very special. We are motivated to put in a good performance, to win the match and to bring home all three points. We respect this team [Celtic] as they are Champions League regulars.”

Since then, PSG have strengthened their team by adding Neymar in a world-record move from Barcelona and added Kylian Mbappe on loan from AS Monaco.
