Team Analysis
Manchester City
City have faced Middlesbrough and dented the latter’s Premier League survival hopes after Gabriel Jesus headed in a late equaliser on his first start since returning from a broken foot.
Although the 2-2 draw has been a cruel blow against M’boro, City seems to have played lousily when in fact they could have gotten off with at least a single point above.
And as Pep Guardiola’s men face Cyrstal Palace, there are brewing concerns on players’ appearance. Ilkay Gundogan remains sidelined having knee injury, while goalkeeper Claudio Bravo also misses out for sustained a calf injury against United.
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace were whacked by Burnley after a 0-2 defeat. Thought Sam Allardyce’s men, started very well, they later fell behind for their inefficiencies not clearing the ball. There have been really poor decision making that put the club in what appears to be another dismay, after losing to Tottentam.
Other than concentrating on how to bounce back from successive defeats, Palace have to focus on the threats brought about by players’ injury too. James Tomkins has and Pape Soure are major doubts for their ankle and leg injury respectively. Scott Dann and Mamadou Sakho suffer from knee damage, while Connor Wickham experiences ACL.
Prediction
Crystal Palace are seemingly about to miss another opportunity as Manchester City take the pitch dominatingly. With only 3-4 Premier League matches remaining, City are not one to be passive playing.
