This is a great chance for Liverpool to get level with Chelsea. Liverpool are unbeaten against Chelsea in the last seven outings. However, five of these matches ended in draws. Both the Liverpool wins came away from home as well. Curiously, the last time Liverpool defeated Chelsea at Anfield was in 2012. Chelsea have won twice at Anfield after that defeat, which included that heart-breaking loss in April 2014 that derailed Liverpool’s title push.
So stats do not give away any clear-cut indication for online betting. Neither does the recent form. Liverpool have won all their last three EPL matches, while Chelsea have won all their last four EPL matches. Liverpool seem to have the better attack, while Chelsea seem to have the better defence. In situations such as this, the teams with better defence either win or get away with a draw.
