ISL Matches: Online Betting Preview

ISL Matches: Online Betting Preview

The Indian Super League resumes after a short break tomorrow. If you have seen some of the initial matches, you may not be too interested in watching them. But hang on. ISL gets better after each passing. That is  what its history tells us. And it will become seriously attractive for online betting as well. We have three matches on the week days:

  • November 22 – FC Pune City vs Delhi Dynamos FC
  • November 23 – Chennaiyin FC vs Northeast United FC
  • November 24 – Kerala Blasters FC vs Jamshedpur FC

FC Pune City vs Delhi Dynamos FC

This is the first game for both these teams. The teams in all likelihood will be rusty. Expect a slow-paced, midfield-confining game. Goals will be fewer as well. Pune have assembled a decent attack, comprising Marcelo and Kean Lewis. Marcos Tébar, who was with Delhi Dynamos last time along with Lewis, will provide the push from the midfield. The trio could solve Pune’s goal-scoring problems. They have been playing well in the pre-season as well.

Delhi Dynamos have roped in some obscure foreign who could turn out to be sensations of this year’s ISL: the likes of Gabriel Cichero, Jeroen Lumu and Matías Mirabaje. They also have a strong Indian contigent as well, including Romeo Fernandez, Sena Ralte and Seityasen Singh. If they fulfil their potential, Delhi will be hard to beat.

Prediction for online betting: FC Pune City to score a narrow win.

Chennaiyin FC vs Northeast United FC

Both the teams will be frustrated after their opening games. Chennaiyin lost against FC Goa, while Northeast failed to win against Jamshedpur. They will be keen to score their first win. Northeast looked the better side in the first game. They were co-ordinated and skilful in the midfield. What they lack is a predatory goal-scorer. Chennaiyin was lackluster in their opening match. But they have the opportunity to play at home and improve their game.

Prediction for online betting: A draw.

Kerala Blasters FC vs Jamshedpur FC

Blasters were so poor in their opening fixture against ATK that their own beloved fans, around 50000 of them, booed them in the bend. Blasters will be eager to avoid such a response once again. The team boasts of some big names, but nothing was visible on the field. They have a good opportunity to score a morale-boosting win over Jamshedpur FC, who could become the minnows of this year’s ISL. They looked inadequately equipped to deal with the challenges of the ISL in their first game.

Prediction for online betting: Kerala Blasters to win 3-1.
