India vs New Zealand second ODI: Cricket Betting Preview

The odds of cricket betting in favour of India has grown considerably after India’s lop-sided win in the first ODI of the series in Dharmasala. India bundled out the Kiwis for just 191 runs and won the match by six wickets. The pitch at Dharmasala offered more bounce and seam movement than any other pitch in India. Still, New Zealand could not make use of friendly conditions and lost the match in a disappointing manner. India looked the better side in all departments of the game. New Zealand will be making an all-out effort to turn things around in the second ODI in Delhi tomorrow. The pitch, though, will be more suited to spin bowling and Indian batsmen.
Preview – India
Virat Kohli looked in excellent touch. Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma looked comfortable in the middle, even though they failed to register substantial runs. Same is the case with MS Dhoni. All these point to one vital thing: It is almost impossible to beat India by batting first. This Indian batting line-up can chase down any target. It is also wise to not bet against India in online betting when they bat second at home. The contest will be more open when India bat first. That is when Indian batsmen tend to relax a bit.
Preview – New Zealand
New Zealand appear to be carrying the scars from the test series. Batsmen looked short in confidence than in anything else. In the first ODI, India bowled with discipline. But the bowling was not unplayable in any way. New Zealand’s lack of self-belief was apparent in most of the dismissals. The bowling looked sharp at the early stages, but they did not have a good enough score to bowl with. As already stated, the best chance for New Zealand is by putting India into bat first.
Prediction
New Zealand’s long win drought in India, stretching a period of 13 years, is likely to continue. It will take a brave man to bet against India in the cricket betting for this match. But in cricket, as they say, anything can happen.
