They will hope to unleash the fearsome troika of Chris Gayle, Kohli and ABD on Mumbai Indians. RCB’s bowling is bit of a concern. The absence of Mitchell Starc is strikingly felt. They do not have a bowler who can stem the flow of runs. The best bet for the side is to bat second. If their batsmen find form, no target is beyond their reach.

Preview – Gujarat Lions vs Rising Pune Supergiant
Gujarat Lions neither have the batting nor have the bowling to challenge others in this IPL. They were done in at the player auction. They may spring a surprise or two, especially on the rare occasions when Suresh Raina or Brendon McCullum get going. On all other times, they will bite the dust. You can safely ignore the odds in favour of them.
Rising Pune Supergiant, on the other hand, have the batting power to be a contender. However, they bowl like millionaires’ spoilt kids. Their death-over bowling looks like a six-hitting competition. It usually spoils the good work done by Imran Tahir and other slow bowlers like Rajat Bhatia. That said, they are the favourites against Gujarat Lions even with this bowling.
