Leicester Gets to Bag Away the 2016 BBC Sports Personality Award

12BET (Football News) The Foxes is honored to receive the Team of the Year award after having a successful career high performance last year where they get to win the 2015-2016 Premier League title.

Claudio Ranieri’s contribution for Leicester has paid-off as the Italian manager gets to be named as the coach of the year. Two awards that were given to the current champ whose experiencing career high performance in UEFA Champions League so far.

The club had only loss three campaigns last season, which earned them the place for the international tournament this season, as they are the group winner on their cluster.

Ranieri just like any other manager has received criticism when he took over Leicester after Nigel Pearson was sacked. His dedication for the squad has helped them to escape the relegation zone back in 2014-2015 which ended the rumors that was thrown to him.

Leicester might be struggling at the moment as they settled on the 15th spot this year, having a stalemate result over Stoke. The challenge is on for the squad to bounce back, and hopefully this recognition can somehow provide them the motivation to win their upcoming campaigns.

The boys from King Power Stadium had also take the opportunity to have a photo session with award winning Olympian, Michael Phelps.

The Foxes will get to enjoy a one week break before they face Everton on English Premier League after Christmas. The challenge for them to redeem themselves back and land on safety haven in the league standing is on.
