Pakistan vs West Indies First Test: Cricket Betting Preview

History will be made tomorrow at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. It is going to host the first ever pink-ball day-night test. Pakistan and West Indies are the first to test out what could be the routine thing of the future. As they say, future is here in Dubai, perhaps the most appropriate of all the world cities for this new experiment. Now you can comfortably enjoy the test cricket betting sessions in the evenings. Irrespective of the time of the match or colour of the ball, Pakistan will be the overwhelming favourites for this test match, especially considering their dominance in the ODI series.
Preview – Pakistan
Younis Khan will not be able to taste the new experience. He is injured and so sidelined. Misbah-ul-Haq comes back to the side. He will be the mainstay in a batting line-up comprising Azhar Ali, Sami Aslam, Babar Azam, and Asad Shafiq. Azam is on a purple patch, having scored three consecutive hundreds against West Indies in the ODI series.
Left-arm spinning all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz is likely to make his debut. He will offer handy support to a bowling attack featuring Yasir Shah, Zulfiqar Babar, Sohail Khan, and Wahab Riaz/Mohammad Amir. This is a formidable bowling attack for the conditions. Even batting powerhouses like India or South Africa may struggle against them.
Preview – West Indies
West Indies do not have a strong batting unit like India or South Africa. They have struggled in tests against Ashwin in their home. Since their arrival in the UAE, they have found the limited overs bowlers of Pakistan too difficult to handle. What could likely make their task more difficult is the pink ball against the night night sky. It is a new experience. But people who have played using pink balls suggest it is difficult to pick the seam of the ball, especially against spinners. It could make batting more difficult. But it kind of makes the cricket betting easier. It will be a miracle if Pakistan lose this match.
