Pullela Gopichand: Winning Under Pressure

Seven Indians shuttlers will aim for the gold as they make their way to the 2016 summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. These athletes will be under the Indian chief badminton coach Pullela Gopichand.
The 42-year old coach was a former Indian badminton player. With the experience that he has, there’s definitely no doubt that these players are in good hand including the Olympics bronze medalist Saina Nehwal.
The young manager of the team said that the draw result doesn’t matter as long as the shuttlers know their primary aim and that is to bag away the gold medal for their beloved country. Bad round can never be set aside especially on the quarter finals but it’s a matter of how you will play the game.
Gopichand just recently launch his International Badminton academy in Greater Noida.
He was looking forward in the great stunt that his players will get to showcase on the said event. He believes that Nehwal will have a great finished for she is an experience player. He also has K Srikanth and PV Sindhu on his side.
Meanwhile, rumors roam around as to whether these names really have the right amount of experience to surpass the heat of their contenders. Gopichand said that it might be hard since Olympics was a big game but he still believe that his squad has the knowledge since they all play for Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.
The oozing confidence of Gopichand will surely help his team to overcome the pressure that they will soon encounter on the 2016 Rio Olympics.
