Shane Watson picks who is the better all-rounder between Hardik Pandya and Ben Stokes

Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson has heaped praise on India’s ace all-rounder Hardik Pandya, saying that he is better than England’s Ben Stokes in the shortest format of the game.
Pandya and Stokes are two of the most dangerous power hitters in the format, and on any given day, each one of them has the potential to win games single-handedly. Comparisons are often made between the two, with people trying to determine which of the two is superior and more likely to triumph.
Hardik has lately put up match-winning performances, most notably with the bat in hand, against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022 and against Australia in the most recent three-match T20I series. On the other hand, Stokes has been an essential member of England’s Twenty20 International squad and has been a match-winner for the team on many occasions.
The former Australian great Watson, who was an outstanding all-rounder in his own right, has made it plain who of Hardik and Stokes is, in his opinion, the superior player. The former superstar went for Hardik instead of Stokes because Hardik is a player who stands out from the crowd.
“At this very moment, Hardik is at the top of his game. It is a real pleasure to see him play. I love to watch all-rounders who can bowl fast and hit the ball hard. You know how much of an effect they can have, and how they can take the game away from the other team at any time, whether with the bat or the ball,” Watson said to NDTV.
In the same vein as Stokes, Hardik is a fast-bowling all-rounder who has the ability to alter the course of the game with his powerful hitting ability.
“It’s great to see Hardik play as well as he is right now. And right now, Hardik is a lot better at T20 cricket than Ben Stokes is. With the way Hardik bats, the different ways he can bat at the end, and the way he bowls. Right now, Hardik is the one who stands out,” he added. This year, Hardik led his Indian Premier League team, the Gujarat Titans, to win the IPL 2022 championship.
