Sri Lanka vs Australia Second T20: Cricket Betting Preview

Australia will play the final match of their Sri Lankan tour in the second and last T20 match at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, tomorrow. Australia walloped Sri Lanka in the first T20. The Aussies, batting first, amassed 263 for three thanks mainly to a typically blistering innings of 145 off 65 balls from Glen Maxwell. The Lankans never got the chase going as they managed just 178 for nine in their 20 overs. As for cricket betting analysis, Maxwell is unlikely to repeat his heroics. The second match will be more evenly contested. In other words, Sri Lanka has a good chance of pulling one back.
Preview – Sri Lanka
In the last match, Sri Lanka’s bowling froze completely. Four of their bowlers went for more 12 an over. Maxwell did not spare a single bowler. They leaked runs and could not make any inroads into the Australian line-up. The whole team needs a couple of players to come up and take responsibility. At the moment, there is a vacuum at the leadership in both bowling and batting. Skipper Dinesh Chandimal played a good hand in the previous match, but his lone effort was never going to be enough.
Preview – Australia
The Aussies are unlikely to let go this opportunity for a rare T20 series win in the sub continent. The win in the last match is their first in the shortest format of the game in Sri Lanka. They will be happy with their performance in the last match, since as many as five of the regular first eleven players were not available for the match. The team will expect more fireworks from Maxwell and skipper David Warner. Australia’s real strength lies in their bowling. Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland took three wickets and gave away just 26 runs each in their four overs. Their effort broke the back of Sri Lankan chase.

The form favours Australia. But history doesn’t. This team looks capable of creating a history of its own. Check out the odds of cricket betting @ 12 bet for an Australian win.
