Lucas Pouille defeated Feliciano Lopez to win Stuttgart Open

Lucas Pouille of France won his first grass-court title of his career after beating Feliciano Lopez at the Mercedes Cup, Stuttgart Open.
The 23-year-old Frenchman finished the game with a 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 victory in just two hours and five minutes for his second crown of the season and has now won a total of three ATP Tour titles.
Pouille hit 29 aces and saved six of the seven break points to defeat the 35-year-old Lopez, who was trying to win his third grass-court title.
Pouille is set to receive 250 Emirates ATP Rankings points and €112,460 in prize money while Lopez will earn 150 Emirates ATP Rankings and €59,230.
Meanwhile, Britain’s Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares of Brazil became victorious to won the doubles title with a 6-7 (4-7), 7-5, 10-5 against the number four seeds Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic.
For Soares, it’s his 25th tour-level championship victory while Murray has nw 18 titles in his name.
The Scottish-Brazilian pair claimed their second title this year after winning first ATP doubles trophy last February in Acapulco, Mexico.
Moreover, Murray and Soares won the Australian Open and US Open last year to finished the season at the top of the world rankings.
